Sale of 44 Prime Cattle, Young Bulls and 28 OTM’s.
Prime Heifers averaged 401.48ppk selling to 450ppk for a sweet Limousin from G McFadzean, Woodend of Mailer purchased by D Campbell & Son, Butchers, Callander and to £3205 for a British Blue from Ross Brothers Wardhead purchased by J Gilvear & Son, Graystale.
Prime Bullocks averaged 398.42ppk selling to 442ppk for a Limousin from Ross Brothers, Wardhead purchased by T Johnston, Butchers, Falkirk and to £2955 for a Limousin from J & N Kerr, Bankhead purchased by Gilvear & Sons, Graystale.
Young Bulls sold to 358ppk for an Aberdeen Angus cross from W A Hume, Easter Clune and to £3048 for a Luing from A MacGregor, Allanfauld.
OTM’s met a strong demand with an average of 287.75 ppk selling to 410ppk for a British Blue from Ross Brothers, Wardhead and to £3025 from the same home.
