25 Prime Heifers averaged 413.43p per kg selling to 455p per kg for a Limousin from G McFadzean, Woodhead of Mailer purchased by G Kirk & Son, Butchers, Denny, and to £2933 for a Limousin from J Collier & Son, Dullomuir purchased by H A Black & Sons, Butchers, Stirling.
20 Prime Bullocks averaged 383.25p per kg selling to 442p per kg for a Limousin again from Woodhead of Mailer purchased by T Johnston Butchers, Falkirk and to £2833 again for a Limousin from Dullomuir purchased by J Gilvear, Graystale.
84 OTM’s averaged 247p per kg with a large show of Highlanders forward, selling to 382p per kg for a Limousin from J & N Kerr, Bankhead and to £3000 for a Limousin from M Jack, Carriston.
