Caledonian Marts Ltd held their weekly Sale of New Season Lambs and Cast Ewes.
New Season Lambs averaged 386ppk selling to 494ppk for the Champion Pair of Texels in the show from D Nicol, Auchtenny and per head to £237 for the same pair from D Nicol, Auchtenny.
Cast Ewes sold to £205 for a pen of 7 Suffolk’s from P G Perring, Hoprig.
Also incorporated in today’s sale was a Show and Sale of Texel Lambs, ably judged by Stuart Stark, of M J Stark Ltd, Paisley. His results are as follows:
