Caledonian Marts Ltd held their weekly Sale of Prime Cattle, Young Bulls & OTM Cattle.
Prime Heifers averaged 391ppk selling to 430ppk on two occasions for two British Blues from Ross Brothers, Wardhead and per head to £2722 for a Limousin again from Ross Brothers, Wardhead.
A Heavy Show of Prime Bullocks averaged 345ppk selling to 405ppk for a Limousin from A Kennedy, Seggarsdean and per head to £2870 for a British Blue from Ross Brothers, Wardhead.
With all Dairy Cross Young Bulls forward they averaged 308ppk selling to 322ppk for an Aberdeen Angus X from Hillhead of Coldwells, Peterhead and per head to £2010 for a Hereford from Hillhead of Coldwells, Peterhead.
OTM Cattle averaged 248ppk selling to 290ppk for a Limousin from W Dick, Mains of Throsk and per head to £2200 for a Limousin from W & M Wylie, Broompark.
Dairy Cattle sold to 220ppk for a Danish Red from R M Reid, Glen and per head to £1360 for the same beast from R M Reid, Glen.
