Caledonian Marts Ltd held their weekly Sale of Prime Cattle & OTM’s.
A Heavier Show of Cattle throughout, with O to U Grades forward which met a respectable trade. Cows continue to be an unbelievable trade selling to £3080 for a non assured Charolais Cow. Reminder there is capped commission on all Prime Cattle & OTM’s with buyers present for all classes.
Prime Heifers averaged 376ppk selling to 422ppk for a Limousin from M Jack, Carriston and per head to £2751 for a British Blue from Ross Brothers, Wardhead.
Prime Bullocks averaged 344ppk selling to 398ppk for a Limousin from Ross Brothers, Wardhead and per head to £3005 for a Limousin again from Ross Brothers, Wardhead.
OTM Females averaged 271ppk selling to 363ppk for a Continental from T & E Tod, Nether Longford and per head to £3080 for a Charolais from R McNeill, Castlehill.
