Caledonian Marts Ltd held their Sale of 271 Store Cattle and Breeding Cattle.
Bullocks averaged 397ppk selling to 497ppk for a Charolais from J Baxter, Gibblaston and £2100 for a Simmental from Dindinnie Farming, Stranraer.
Heifers averaged 395ppk selling to 469ppk for a Charolais again from J Baxter, Gibblaston and per head to £1980 for a pen of Limousins from South Barnkirk, Newton Stewart.
Black and Whites sold to £1690 for a pen of Friesian’s from Merslaugh Farm, Stranraer and to 399ppk from the same home.
Cows & Calves sold to £2650 for a Hereford Cow with a Charolais calf from J Baxter, Gibblaston.
Bulls sold to 390ppk and per head to £1520 for a pen of Shorthorns from R & W Moffat, Bowridge.
