A tremendous show of 197 Store Cattle forward met with a stronger trade for all classes. Bullocks averaged 385ppkg selling to 446ppkg for a Limousin from R Walker, Camregan, Girvan and to £2320 for an Aberdeen Angus from D T Marshall, West Kirkland, Newton Stewart.
Heifers averaged 383ppkg selling to 437ppkg for a pen of Limousins from W Walker, Camregan, Girvan and to £2190 twice for Limousins from R Walker, Camregan, Girvan and British Blues from D T Marshall, West Kirkland, Newton Stewart.
Black and Whites averaged 340ppkg selling to 351ppkg for a pen of Friesians from A H S Drummond, Glenside, Kirkcolm and to £1420 for Friesians from A H S Drummond, Glenside, Kirkcolm.
Cows & Calves sold to £2580 for an Aberdeen Angus Cow and Calf from Knoxfauld Farm Partnership, Dunblane.
