Prime Cattle met a similar trade where as cows were an unbelievably fast trade with more required.
Prime Heifers averaged 358ppk selling to 430ppk for a Limousin from W M Pettigrew, Faskine purchased by D Campbell & Son Butchers, Callander and per head to £2523 for a British Blue from T Taylor, Heatheryhall.
Prime Bullocks averaged 335ppk selling to 390ppk for a Limousin from A Kennedy, Seggarsdean and per head to £2473 for the same beast from A Kennedy, Seggarsdean.
Young Bulls averaged 343ppk selling to 360ppk for a Limousin from Skeoch Farms, Stirling and to £2462 again for a Limousin from Skeoch Farms, Stirling.
OTM’s averaged 277ppk selling to 361ppk for a Limousin from D McCormick, Carriag, Islay and per head to £2680 for an Aberdeen Angus from J & N Kerr, Bankhead.
OTM Males sold to 259ppk for a Simmental from L Dick, Hartfield and per head to £2750 for the same beast from L Dick, Hartfield.
Black and Whites sold to 265ppk for an Ayrshire from J & J Kinloch, Walton and per head to £2420 for a Friesian from W & M Wylie, Broompark.
