Sale of Prime Cattle, Young Bulls & OTM’s.
Prime Heifers averaged 377ppk selling to 425ppk for a Limousin from W M Pettigrew, Faskine purchased by D Campbell & Son Butchers, Callander, also selling to 425ppk was a Limousin from T Taylor, Heatheryhall, and per head sold to £2842 for a Limousin from DS & RC Taylor, Easter Ochtermuthill, Muthill.
Prime Bullocks averaged 363ppk selling to 415ppk for a British Blue from Ross Brothers, Wardhead, Strichen, and sold to £2739 for the same beast from Ross Brothers, Wardhead.
Young Bulls averaged 307ppk selling to 350ppk for a Limousin from M Jack, Carriston, Fife, and to £2275 for the same beast from M Jack, Carriston.
OTM’s averaged 270ppk and sold to 318ppk for a Limousin from J Robertson & Co, Newton of Logierait and sold to £2580 for a Limousin from Rathillet Farm Ltd, Cupar.
Black and Whites averaged 183ppk and sold to 277ppk for a Friesian from R M Reid, The Glen and selling to £2100 for a Friesian from W & M Wylie, Broompark.
