Sale of Prime Cattle, Young Bulls & OTM’s.
Prime Heifers averaged 395ppk selling to 452ppk for a Limousin from W M Pettigrew, Faskine, Airdrie and to £2884 again from Faskine, Airdrie, purchased by D Campbell & Son, Butchers, Callander.
Prime Bullocks averaged 404ppk selling to 445ppk for a Limousin from Ross Brothers, Wardhead, Strichen and to £3206 from the same home.
Young Bulls sold to 368ppk for a Simmental from S Sands, Milton, Abernyte and to £3020 for a Limousin from J C McLaren, Knox, Crieff.
OTM’s averaged 291ppk selling to 323ppk for a British Blue from C Dick, Taylorton, Stirling and to £2660 for a British Blue from the same home.
Dairy Cattle sold to 289ppk from J Wilson, Knockneen, Stranraer and to £1800 R M Reid, The Glen, Falkirk.
Also forward was 14 on milk Calves which topped at £580 for a 7 week old Charolais from J Wilson, Knockneen, Stranraer.
