A good show of 51 Prime Cattle and Young Bulls and 31 OTM’s.
22 Prime Heifers averaged 404.56ppk selling to 448ppk for a peachy Limousin from W M Pettigrew, Faskine, purchased by D Campbell, Butchers, Callander and to £3014 for a Charolais from Ross Brothers, Wardhead purchased by Bowland Foods, Preston.
20 Prime Bullocks averaged 379.37ppk selling to 440ppk again from W M Pettigrew, Faskine purchased by G Kirk, Butchers, Denny and to £3048 for a Limousin from J Collier, Dullomuir purchased by Bowland Foods, Preston.
9 Bulls sold to 335ppk for a Dairy Bull from B Lawson, North Cassingray and to £2408 for a 26 month old Hereford from I G Wilkinson, Balgay.
OTM’s very short of requirements with an overall average of 294.29ppk selling to 345ppk for a Limousin from Lomond Muir, Kinross and to £3040 for a Charolais from McMurrich, Ballater Drive.
Cast Bulls sold to 334ppk for a Limousin from J Baxter, Gibbalston and to £2360 for an Aberdeen Angus from Carskiey Estate, Southend.
