Caledonian Marts (Stirling) Ltd (Tuesday 19th August) sold 2487 store lambs and feeding ewes. Store lambs 2349 to £54.50 for Suffolks and Texels from D MacDonald, No 3 Balevullin, Tiree and D McCormick, Baligarve, Lismore respectively. All classes of lambs were firmer on the week by £2.00 and many more could have been sold to sellers advantage.
