Caledonian Marts (Stirling) Ltd was formed in 1962, and commenced trading at our current site at Millhall Stirling in 1963.
The company is a farmers co-operative and has over 2500 shareholders. The society has nine farmer directors covering a wide range of livestock production and other Agricultural practices.

Operating the main business from Millhall we also lease Oban Livestock Centre . Sales of all classes of livestock are held, principal sales at Millhall are prime cattle and OTM stock every Thursday, Prime and Cast Sheep every Tuesday, Store Cattle fortnightly on a Monday and Store Sheep every Monday.
Breeding Cattle sales are normally held on a Monday and special sales of Suckled Calves and Breeding Sheep are seasonal.
Sales in Oban Livestock Centre are normally held on a Tuesday and comprise mainly of Store Cattle and Sheep.
Whilst Livestock sales are the core business the society also recently entered into a joint venture with Hayes Macfarlane to form a partnership called HMM - Caledonian specialising in property sales, valuations, compensation claims etc etc.
